After going to Iceland for my weekly shop. I returned home to see that several objects had moved. I have always considered that my home could be haunted. Once I was asleep, felt a presence and I woke up covered in a wet substance. Is this signs of a poltergeist present in my home? Can HPGS offer me any counsel?

Having lived in Hull for years, I've had my fair share of spooky encounters with white-faced entities (I even had one in my house!) I don't live there anymore but I still like to check in with the ghostly goings-on and this site is a great way of doing that. Bravo!

As a former resident of Hull I can inform you first hand that it is a paranormal hot spot. It's great that a dedicated team such as HPGS is working to discover the truth! Keep up the good work!

Thank you "Ghostman" for your suggestion, Our quote didn't make "one look silly", we simply stated what one should look for & ask themselves when reviewing a photo, we did not state it was a true image or false image. The papers didn't publish our true explanation of the image so giving the wrong impression/story which resulted in people reading what & understanding what they believed, I cannot comment any further following the international standards for paranormal investigations. Thank You.

With all due respect:

The picture of the 'Ghostly' schoolboy captured by the builder that one of your members quoted on, is a fake.

It is produced by an iPhone app called GHOST CAPTURE.

May I suggest further research in an image/article before quoting something which has the end result of making one look silly?

Ghostman

The Hull History Centre is open now. A full review of the centre appeared on my ripper blog, and on the thisisyourmail site on Monday. The centre see's the Hull Uni Archives, Local Studies and Hull City Archives combined. I have spent three days there already and it has only been opened 5! I am lecturing there in March so watch this space.

Hi Rob, great site here and enjoyed especially the "Hulls urban legends" as an Hull lass myself the "History of Hull" was equally interesting. Many of us share the curiosity of the paranormal. Your site is interesting and very informative. The only one thing I had trouble with was reading the green font on this page. (hurt my eyes a little) lol
Keep up the good work and thank you for the invite. I will defo be coming back to see what new material you have.
Kindest regards
Emma.

Thank you for the comment left by "UNKWN"
Could you not have left your name ?? I appreciate your time to state you are not tearing anyone to bits, let me explain....
I create the website & to statistics 67% of people voting rate the site average to excellent.
The background music can be muted by the viewer at the bottom of the page or mute your pc.. so thats not a problem & in terms of too much on the home page....
There is really just needed information about HPGS....the site is packed with information about the Paranormal for YOU...our viewers. If there was to little then we would proberly get complaints aswell.
In terms of proof, why not attend a professional paranormal investigation then you may believe yourself.

I do appreciate constructive critisism to improve the site but i feel you were just wanting to have a go, or maybe you would have left your name!! Thank you.

firstly i would like to say i am not here to tear anyone to shreads. but can you please tell me where your "proof" about the paranormal is? because to be frank it all seems a little too convenient for it to be definitive truth. lastly, i think you need to get someone to re-design your website, there is WAY too much going on on the home page and the music is annoying as hell!
